Create presses and equipment records so production and downtime can be tied to the correct asset.
Requirements
Create the department before adding its machines.
Add a machine

Open machine administration
Select the department that owns the machine.

Enter the machine name
Use the recognized plant identifier, such as Press 12, Trim Cell 3, or CNC-04.

Activate and verify
Save the record and confirm it appears in login, job setup, and production filters where appropriate.
Best practice: Match equipment labels exactly so operators can identify the correct machine quickly.
